The new Superocean model builds on the famous design codes of the Slow Motion model, while adding modern touches such as a ceramic-lined bezel and vibrantly coloured dials. The wide hands and indices made of Super-LumiNova® luminescent material allow for easy legibility underwater. The watch is water-resistant to 300 m (1,000 ft) as well as shock, sand and salt water. The bronze version uses a special alloy that has excellent corrosion resistance, yet develops a subtle patina over time that makes the watch even more unique.
